Come next year, you'll have a new way to order Domino's pizza.

Domino's announced Wednesday that customers can use Uber Eats and Postmates to order food by 2024. The pizza restaurant chain has partnered with the ride share and delivery company as part of an exclusive third-party platform in the U.S.

In a press release Domino's said the agreement will allow U.S. customers to order pasta, breadsticks and other products through the food delivery apps with "delivery by the trained delivery experts of Domino's and its franchisees – an experience that customers have come to rely on for more than 60 years."

Domino's menu items are shown on October 12, 2017 in Chicago, Illinois. Shares of the restaurant chain rose 11% on July 12, 2023 after announcing partnership with Uber Eats.

The world's largest pizza company has previously avoided working with third-party delivery companies instead preferring customers to order through it's own app and website, which will still be available options. With Uber Eats and Postmates, the chain has the potential to reach no customers.

Domino's said Uber will provide them with customer order data to further understand "delivery efficiency and incrementality."

Shares for Domino's rose 11% Wednesday following the announcement, closing at $388.59. The company is set to reveal second-quarter earnings on July 24.

The company has recently increased prices for menu items and delivery charges to make up for consumers ordering out less to save money, according to Reuter's.

In April, the chain announced a 2.1% decline in same-store delivery sales in the first financial quarter of 2023, compared to last year's.
